King Kobra - Ready To Strike [1985/1994]
Sunday, February 18, 2007
King Kobra formed in 1983 by the drummer Carmine Appice , “Ready To Strike” has all those elements that please a hard rock fan, and all those elements that made this kind of music popular in the 80’s.
Great hard rock riffs, steady rhythm section and of course excellent hooklines and fantastic vocals from Mark Free (one of the best voices in Melodic Hard Rock/AoR genre).

I loved this album when it first came out. Thanks for posting it. Now I can finally replace that well-worn cassette of it I have.

Help! I tried to download 3 times. The maximum I got is up to track 8. This is, along with Winger`s Sahara, my favorite album of your blog.
By the way, people would love if you could post the King K album that has "Overnight Sensation" and "Second Time Around".
Any Vanderberg album would be great too. I´ve been looking in several blogs and no one has it. Adrian knows how to rock but can be melodical too(with good taste, not too much sugar). If he could be original as well he would have been the second best of his time, only after VH. Better than R Rhoads.
